This website is designed to help you understand how Google Adsense works and how Adsense can help you generate revenue from your website(s).
A brief overview
Adsense is a free program from Google that gives webmasters the ability to earn revenue from the traffic they receive e on their website. This is done by displaying Google adverts on your pages or using the Google search function bar on your site.
All the adverts, which are displayed, will be relevant to the content on the page. The Google Adsense tool will first read your website content, then deliver quality targeted adverts based around that content.
Webmasters are paid by either the number of impressions that advert receives (visitors do not have to click on the ad) or the number of clicks the advert receives.
These two options are often described as CPM and CPC.
CPM- This is calculated as cost per thousand impressions
CPC – This is calculated as cost per click.
The most common option here is the CPC as many webmasters do not received thousands of visitors per day. Should your website be a low traffic site, then providing your content is relevant and you are receiving quality visitors, the CPC model will work very effectively.
CPM models are typically used by major websites, which have a regular flow of traffic. This means they can easily forecast AdSense revenue based on the average traffic.
Google Adsense adverts can be modified to fit into the style of your website from the Adsense control panel. You have an option of text ads or picture adverts. Using the control panel you can easily choose the different size adverts , based on the layout of your website.
Alternatively, should you not wish to show adverts on your website, then there is still one more option available. This option is the Google Search Bar. You may choose to use both options are the same time.
The search bar tool offers your website visitors to search within your website for relevant topics using the Google search technology. The search results provided will display your websites content, along with Google adverts. The entire layout is very well set out and offers both yourself an extra revenue stream and your website visitors a quality search bar.
